My Newstalk Radio Interview

My Newstalk Radio Interview

I’m William, and I’m nine years old. I recently had an amazing experience — I was invited to speak on Newstalk's Down to Business with Bobby Kerr! It was my very first live radio interview, and I got to share the story of my company,

How It All Started

I’ve always loved exploring, inventing, and creating things. One day, I decided I wanted to make toys that weren’t just fun to play with, but also inspired kids like me to be curious and imaginative. That’s how my business started.

In the interview, I talked about how I come up with ideas, how I work on the designs, and even how I help with marketing. Running a business is a lot of work, but it’s also really exciting — and I’m learning new things every single day.

What I Learned From This Experience

Going on the radio was a little bit scary at first, but it was also so much fun. I got to tell my story and hopefully inspire other kids to believe they can follow their dreams too. Bobby Kerr was really kind, and he asked me great questions about being a young entrepreneur.

I hope my story shows other kids that you don’t need to wait until you’re a grown-up to start something big. All you need is an idea, some courage, and a lot of hard work.

What’s Next

This is just the beginning for William Alexander Toys. I have so many fun ideas for new toys, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

Thank you for supporting me and my journey. I can’t wait to show you what’s coming next!
